TERMS, GUARANTEES, AND RETURN POLICIES
Limited Warranty:
All hardware products delivered by Oasis Computers are warranted for one year from date of purchase except for CPUs. CPUs carry a 15 day replacement only warranty. In this period, Oasis Computers warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. (If Oasis Computers does not have the item in stock at the time of return, we reserve the right to keep the defective merchandise from 1 to 60 days for repair or exchange). This limited warranty is contingent upon proper use of the product in question and does not cover products which have been modified or which have been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stresses.
Limitation of Liability:
Oasis computers is not responsible for consequential damage to any system or its components caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed or obtained from Oasis Computers. Oasis Computers shall not be liable for damage to painted surfaces or keyboard keys due to physical abuse, or excessive use, or liquids, or chemical spilled upon or inside the system, including oxidation or corrosion to components by exposure to salt air.
The limited warranty also does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as a result of:
1. Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
2. Misuse, neglect, or improper environmental conditions.
3. Any repair, modifications, adjustment, or installation of options or parts
obtained by anyone other than an Oasis Computers authorized service center.
4. Excessive or inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.
Replacement:
A return for replacement or repair may be arranged in the case of a DOA or product under warranty. A 20% restocking fee or $25.00 fee (which ever is greater) will be charged for the return of a non-defective product. All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA Number) or the shipment will be refused. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges to Oasis Computers when returning products for replacement or repair. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice indicating proof of purchase.
Return Merchandise Authorizations:
In order to obtain service on your equipment, an RMA number must be obtained from Oasis Computers and the product returned within 10 days of the issuing of the RMA number. Absolutely no cross shipments will be permitted. In order to adhere to the RMA policy, you must:
Contact Oasis Computers to receive a RMA number. You must provide the original invoice number, shipping date, serial number, description of items being returned, and the reason for return.
Return the product, freight pre-paid with a copy of your original invoice. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box and on the shipping label. We must have a complete detailed description of the problem in order to issue a RMA number. Items returned must be received by Oasis Computers in like-new condition and in original packing with all accessories and manuals.
